It was love at first sight
Bess the cow poked the new kitten
From then on they seemed to unite
In her stall Felix sleeps
In the pasture they're always together
They can be seen at the barn door
Staring out when it turns bad weather
The cow and the cat
I would never have imagined
The cat is no longer mine
They have no need of me any more
But I still go out and combine
Politely they accept me
Because they both know
It wont be long before I will go
Then they return to what they were doing
Living life in what they're pursuing
Be happy my bovine and feline friends
