All secret things as well
When sun or light or moon or stars
May seem in parallel
When golden bowls are broken
Though silver cords be loosed
Let not words of false wisdom
Cause children to be seduced
Words that seem to come from elsewhere
Which may seem out of place
Could not be spoken in esteemed token
If uttered towards disgrace
When keepers of the house shall tremble
Grinders cease and windows dark
Rising up at the voice of the bird
Watch now the ways of the patriarch
The broken wheel at the cistern
Opening of doors into the street
Time is of the greatest essence
In the experience so bittersweet
Fear may be found walking in the way
And that of which is on high
Take heed to the lining up of words
In spoken ways whereby
Words of wisdom are as goads
Applied to all humanity
Thoughts are weighed by actions
Not thoughts
The rest is all in vanity
