Won't you come and sit with me
Upon this wall of stone
I am the child of innocence
Of my father's blood and bone
Won't you tell me stories
Of things I want to hear
Tell me of the worldly things
And how it must appear
I won't comprehend too much
But still I'll gladly listen
As we sit and laugh and talk
And in my eyes will glisten
It's not hard to please me
A smile is quite enough
I am the precious jewel
A diamond in the rough
