"Lucky Dog"

The bowl tipped over
But he didn't mind
Or bother to wait at all
To his good fortune
He got quite a hand out
As the bowl from the table did fall
Now he probably wants some sauce
Maybe a meatball or two
He's a spoiled rascal indeed
And a beggar through and through

"Earthly Delight"

Once on a trip to the planet Earth
My taste for sushi was acquired
Inhabitants of that place were fairly ugly
Their ways were not much to be desired
While out collecting specimens of herbs
I study them for the collective
The study of plants is my field of expertise
In reaching my main objective
In the fibers of such growths
Many miracles abide
My life's work holds me steady
Keeping me alive inside
All relative to a days work
As I go from planet to planet
Gallactic procedures and its rules
Are steadfast and written in granite
I never deviate from the plan
Ever mindful of the universe
With care to leave things in pristine condition
In utmost priority of the obverse
The only gem upon that surface
When I am at ease in my home
My taste for shushi which I find delicous
That causes me not to roam
It is a delicacy I do not wish to share
Or to let its existence be discovered
So I consume it secretly keeping it for myself
All of the sushi I've recovered
On my journeys to the planet Earth

I like my shirt you gave me
Thanks for the cereal too
I'm so suprised to see you
I never had a clue
Have you come to play with me
Let me get my toys
You're like the greatest thing to me
Even when you make that noise
I dont know what haha means
But I can see your smile
I'm glad you came to see me
And hope you'll stay awhile

"Temporary Friendship"

Hey buddy-what you doin'
You weren't here last time I came outside
Where'd you get that cool lookin' smile
Why you lookin' at me with those eyes so wide
You look pretty cool there with your arms out
You wanna play with me today
How come you don't move at all
You aint got nothin' to say
Last year there was someone just like you
Then one day he was gone
It got warm and the sun came out
He ran away after tinkling on the lawn

"Oscar"

His name is Oscar
He's a sensitive guy
Sometimes he gets so depressed
He's a one man dog who's really a human
Who gets a little obsessed
I tickle his feet with a twist of paper
He looks at me with eyes so wide
All I have to suggest to him
Is that we go outside
It doesnt take long for him to get ready
Once he gets out he wants in
A few bites of food then off to the bed
And that's all he does from therein
Under the covers he sighs in relief
Waiting for his afternoon nap
Oscar is my little buddy
He is quite an amusing chap
Sometimes he lays on his back with his feet
Sticking straight up in the air
Making a hissing noise like a vacuum cleaner
With a grin on his face that is rare
It's a waiting game until nap time is over
Unless it is time for a treat
Then it's time for some fun until he is done
And he is once again beat
No big deal-its nap time again
Oscar is a guy who is clever
Every day is another adventure
He thinks it will go on forever

"A pelicans life"

He's a big dive bomber
Who flies through the air
Without a moments notice
He will dive
Sometimes you'll find him
Sitting on a pier
Better feed him some minnows
Or he'll give you some jive
Don't mess with that pelican
Old baldy will get you
Sooner or later in the air
Before you know it
He will baptise you properly
The evidence will be in your hair

"Best Buddies"

Hard to believe not long ago
But how could anyone really know
We used to be such good friends
We laughed and played all day
Then he got dad very angry
With nothing more to say
I told him to apologize
Or life would be uncertain
No more deals-no more laughs
No more Haliburton
He would not listen to no avail
I tried my best to remedy things
But dad insisted I spank him hard
Until his body swings
I miss my friend so much these days
In utter sad reflection
What the hell is that horrible smell
It's the stench from my election

Don't want to give us a little snack
This is what I think of you
We are the cookie and bannana burglars
Who inhabit this place in the zoo
See my tongue sticking out
That's what you get from me
My sister thinks you look like a goat
Can't say I disagree
Go away and don't come back
Unless you have cookies for us
Until then my friend I stick out my tongue
There is nothing left to discuss
We're only nice when you bring us snacks
We can make you laugh for some food
Now go get us something to eat right now
If you want us to change our mood
